1. Are Miracles Bogus? – Torrey Clark does a wonderful job explaining miracles in light of the New Testament’s clear statements about them! Coming from a Pentecostal background, this topic is always one that is interesting to me and was one of the hardest things to understand when coming out of denominationalism and into the one, true church. -
2. Enoch Kept On Walking – Ben Giselbach, the writer of PlainSimpleFaith.com has been putting out a number of articles lately that are nothing short of amazing. In this article he deals with the length of Enoch’s life and what it teaches us all the way in the 21st Century! -
3. Cord Dogs, Sauerkraut and Cottage Cheese – Neal Pollard might have missed it on his hatred of at least two of the three types of food mentioned (I’ve never actually tasted Cottage Cheese before to my knowledge) but he didn’t miss it on this article! It’s difficult for me to think about the fact that so many today can look at the Bible, see what it means and then turn from it stating “that’s not how I interpret it!” We cannot simply pick one doctrine and reject another based on our own likings and feelings on the subject. It’s about time we let God tell us what to do. -
4. How To Become A Christian – I know this is one of our own links from a blog post and Youtube video that we posted on Thursday of last week but that will be alright. Let me ask you a question, is it hard for you sometimes to tell someone how to become a Christian (maybe based on the relationship you have with them or something else)? All you have to do is SHARE this video onto your Facebook, Twitter or anything else (you can even email it to people!) and they will have the chance to see what the Bible says must be done in order for someone to have salvation! -
5. The Day My Blog Became Sinful – Chris Clevenger, writer for ChrsClvngr.com wrote this blog on the heels of some articles on alcohol and how it should not touch the lips of the Christian. I think it’s wonderful for someone to be able to admit that something caught them up, but this article is helpful for more reasons than that. Pride is all around us! If we are going to combat it then we are going to have to know what it is and where it can arise. -
