In the next few weeks you might notice, or you might not if you haven't read them before, that our old articles that have previously ran in our e-zine will be making the transition over to our blog as articles. Also, the ezine will cease being released. While it is a wonderful resource for many, we've noticed that the number of people who read the ezine has been dropping in the recent past and our blog readership has been growing. Because of that, Tony and I have decided to transition the PFP into a more of a blog centered ministry. That means that our new Preacher's Favorite Passage articles, the ones that usually make up the majority of our ezine, will start being part of the blog. Don't worry, we'll make sure it is easy to access the articles written by our visitor authors and they will continue to write on their favorite passages, the articles will just be released in a slightly different way.
You might have noticed that we FINALLY purchased our domain name! We are now officially www.thepfp.net! There's a reason why we did that. Not only does it help us in advertising and other ways in which we let people know that we are here for their education and edification but it also gives insight into what we want the PFP to become. With the help of others throughout the church we will be launching other things other than our blog articles that will hopefully begin to help people in ways that we never have and might even add some family friendly entertainment from time to time!
To those who have been registered to receive the PFP since its beginning, let me say a heartfelt THANK YOU! To those of you who are new, we are so happy to have you with us and look forward to providing you with good materials in the future. The registered people will still be getting our blog articles with each new release via email but will also be notified every time a new PFP article is released on the blog.
This transition will take a few weeks to iron out the incidentals but keep checking back for our articles that have previously been released in the ezine, because let's face it we know that many of our readers haven't taken the time to go back through two whole years of articles so many of these will even be new to many!
Thanks again for your prayers and words of encouragement and we look forward to the future with eager anticipation!
